Nowadays it’s almost all Google, with Bing barely hanging on to double-digit search volume.
There are really two distinct stages of SEO –
- Initial setup and on-page optimization.
- Ongoing SEO including off-page activities such as link-building, citation generation and much, much more.
To help people take the first steps in their new venture, or to revitalize established websites that never received any SEO TLC, we offer a basic Entry Level SEO package to address most of your on-page issues. ‘Entry-Level’ is perhaps the wrong term here as it’s really quite an extensive service that takes between 6-10 hours of expert labor, depending on the website.
The first thing we do, free of charge, is a basic assessment to see if we think you’re website can benefit from this type of packaged service, or not. It may be that you have most of the elementary things in place and that you need something more extensive, but in most cases, this service can help.
Entry Level SEO Package
For this service we perform the following tasks, as and where/when needed:
- For WordPress installs we add and configure a leading SEO plugin. For non-WordPress websites, we use standard HTML.
- Perform keyword research to determine the most useful search terms for each client website, based on the number of monthly searches performed and the level of competition for each search term. We run basic competitor analysis and focus on search terms we believe will yield some targeted visitors to your website, rather than trying to hit highly competitive generic search terms such as ‘Software’, ‘Lawyers’ etc. We have you review our list before beginning the on-page work.
- We then write Meta Title tags for all key pages, constructed using the search terms we’ve identified for your website. (for websites up to 20 pages)
- We write Meta Description tags for all-important content pages using your target keywords (for websites up to 20 pages)
- Set index and noindex tags for Google to follow.
- Setup Alt Image tags on the homepage and key content pages using target keywords.
Next:
- We create a new Google account (or utilize an existing Gmail account if you have one available). In Google Search Console, we perform a website ownership validation, for both Google and Bing, then setup the XML sitemap to automatically feed Google a list of all key content pages, and new pages as they’re developed. We run speed/performance and indexing checks and respond to any issues, should they occur. We then, create a Google Analytics account on your behalf and install tracking code on all website pages.
To finish up the Google work, we send the login links so you can check analytics at any time and view the Search Console data and stats on your website.
