This type of program is exclusive to the Internet and requires a basic reassessment of typical selling strategies. In the offline world, merchants are used to having the overhead of marketing built into the product costs as a 'fixed' or sometimes variable cost. In the world of Affiliate Marketing, the fixed cost is also built in as a percentage of the product cost, but the cost is only incurred when the sale is made.

Think of it another way, as a merchant, you are recruiting an online sales force who only get paid once a sale is made. They are not your 'employees' so you don't have to worry about the usual costs associated with maintaining a sales force. Furthermore, since the sales force is paid directly by Hitmine, you don't even have to worry about 1099 or other tax issues concerning direct or contract labor.

  1. As a Merchant, simply signup today and following approval we will have you in our system in 24 hours.
  2. This is an exclusive program and we are very selective about who we accept as merchants. Other Affiliate Program websites will auto-approve all applications and place virtually no restriction on what type of merchant can be involved in the program. This is not good for merchants as affiliates will be given way too many choices of programs to promote, many of which may not really be suited to this type of marketing resource. We look carefully at your products, assess the commission structure that you are offering, and decide on an individual basis if your company will be a good fit into our network.
  3. After approval, you send us the banners that you want used, or, for a mall fee, we can create banners for you.
  4. We will work with you on integrating the tracking code into your shopping cart order confirmation page. This is usually a very simple process.
  5. Once tested, we finish your account setup and enter your commission rates - You set the amount that you want to pay affiliates for each sale they bring you. For example, 20% of the sale is common, but the better the commission, the more attractive your program will look to our affiliates.
  6. Affiliate partners who are part of our network, will see your program and subscribe to your program. In addition, we send a weekly email blast to all our affiliates, notifying them of new merchant sign-ups.
  7. Our Affiliate partners then put your banners on their websites, and the traffic will be directed to the webpage of your choosing. (www.yoursite.com/specific-webpage.htm)
  8. When a sale is made it is registered in our console and we run monthly reports to show all sales activity. Commission payments are deducted form your account balance and your credit card is automatically re-charged to refill your account to the minimum balance required. We will send you the sale activity report and you can correlate orders seen by our system with your own shopping cart program. 
  9. After the first week of activity we assess your account to see if the minimum balance is set at the right level, and we may need to assess this with you if the commissions generated are greater than the funds you have in your account.
  10. At the end of the month we mail checks to our Affiliate partners for each sale made in the program.

This includes instruction on integrating our affiliate code with your shopping cart, testing, hosting and all initial setup requirements. We will refund your money if we can't get the software to work with your shopping cart within 5 business days. There will not be any disruption to your normal order-taking service.

Transaction fees

Our transaction fees are based on the payout percentage that you award to affiliates. For example, if we pay your affiliates $500 in a month for commissions, we charge your account $75 for a transaction fee.

Hosting Fees

We charge an account hosting fee of only $20 per month to maintain your account on our database.
